The Late Cathy Palmer R.I.P

Posted on

The London Wexford Association regret to announce the sad passing of one of our active association members Cathy Palmer (nee O’ Connor) R.I.P aged 72 on Tuesday the 28th of May 2019.

Cathy was a native of Shroughmore, Ballindaggin, Co Wexford and resided in Highcroft Road, Kingsbury, London NW9.

Cathy is survived by her devoted husband Stephen and a loving mother to three daughters Claire, Emma and Sarah and brother Michael and four Grandchildren Max, Harrison, Evie and Joscelyn and son in laws Steven and James.

Cathy sadly lost her fight against cancer, but she fought with true grace and strength right until the very end.

Stephen and Cathy were avid supporters to our association and attended all our functions and enjoyed the social gatherings.

Cathy was a beautiful positive inspirational lady in every sense always had a warm smile on her face. A pleasant lady who loved to have a conversation and enjoyed the craic and always willing to give a helping hand when needed.

One of her favourite highlights was to see her natives from Ballindaggin Pipe Band visit to London to lead the St Patrick’s day parade, these were exceptionally proud times for her and her family.

Cathy will be sorely missed by the committee and all our members at The London Wexford Association and all her friends.

On behalf of the association we extend our deepest sympathies to Stephen and all the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this very sad time. May her gentle soul Rest In Peace.
